AR Developments is seeking an experienced Maintenance Carpenter to join our team, working predominantly across our Ripley, Springfield, and surrounding project locations. This role suits a capable carpenter who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys maintenance and rectification work across residential developments.

About the Role

You will be responsible for completing carpentry maintenance and defect rectification works to a high standard, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with ARD quality standards and agreed timeframes. You will also assist site supervisors and other trades as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out carpentry maintenance and rectification work to ARD quality standards

• Hang, replace, adjust, and repair doors

• Repair or replace timber structures including frames, skirting, architraves, and decking

• Repair and adjust cabinetry, shelving, and hardware

• Identify the root cause of defects and carry out effective repairs

• Comply with building standards and safe work practices

• Assist other trades and site supervisors as required

• Perform manual handling, material movement, and general site clean‑ups

About You

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in general handyman or maintenance work

• Trade qualification (Carpentry preferred)

• White Card (essential)

• Current driver’s licence

• EWP licence (desirable)

• Strong understanding of building standards and safety requirements

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
